Lately I’ve had strange issues. 1) Although I turn printer off correctly, when I turn it back on it says I turned it off incorrectly. 2)Printer paper goes through when the printer is setting up, but when I try to print or scan the paper only goes partially through then says it’s jammed; it is not, but it won’t go through. When I check the printer again that same piece of paper goes through without an issue.

I had the same problem today. I spent about 30 minutes running through all of the suggested reset options cleaning options etc. Not sure what your model is but mine is an Envy 4512. I decided to see if it would print a copy and it worked fine. Then I checked my settings and it was set to draft quality I changed it back to better and now I am printing without getting the paper jam error. I dont know why that made a difference but it did Hope it helps you
