Why isn't my paper grasping to print

Common underlying reasons for paper not feeding correctly include one or more of...

  • Dirty printer or rollers
  • Unsupported paper
  • Paper not loaded correctly (See the printer's user guide)
  • Old, curled, too dry / too damp, or otherwise unsuitable paper
  • Paper supported but printer is not aware of the Paper Size / Paper Type
  • Paper supported, printer settings correct, but job setup for Paper Size / Type is missing or incorrect

Printer type is hp desk jet 2855e 

Product # 588S5A

 

PAPER IS FROM HP AND INK IS FROM HP

It comes with printer. 

 

The alignment is off and its not grasping paper to print. I have warranty is there anyway to return to fix or replace?

I've asked our Moderators to remove the private serial number information.

 

If you would like to do so, hasten the process to protect your privacy by editing your post and removing both the serial number and the PIN.

 

Why?

Thieves love to gather as much private information as you are willing to provide.

 

Warranty Repair

  • If you have completed all the cleaning, troubleshooting, and checked the printer settings and paper, 
  • If the printer is in-Warranty,

And

  • If you believe the source of the issue is a hardware failure,

Then

  • You can submit an in-Warranty request for repair and / or options.

 

NOTES

  • Phone / Queue Wait times can be long - be patient.

AND

  • Be prepared to repeat any / all troubleshooting with HP Support.
