See the document here for information on printing transfer paper in your Deskjet 2700 series printer.  

Important factors:

• The image will need to be mirror imaged, either in the software program you use to generate the artwork or in the driver if the "flip horizontal" option is available.  Do not flip the image both in the software and the driver as the second flip will result in a mirror image on the transfer.
• Set the paper type to HP Iron-On Transfer, or the best quality paper type available. Options might include HP Premium Inkjet Paper, HP Matte Presentation Paper, or Special Paper.
• Set the print quality to Best.
• Load the transfer paper in front of any other paper in the input tray.  You will need the side to be printed to be facing toward the front of the printer.
