I am receiving an error code 59.fo after installing a new transfer unit CE484A

If you put in the old transfer unit does it work? Most common error here is the sticking solenoid in the drive mechanism. Lots of videos on youtube, random selection here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kE1YhZXxLp0

typically the solenoid still works but sticks because the foam bumper they use to reduce noise and prevent the two parts of the solenoid from sticking degrades and becomes a sticky mess. After cleaning you need to have some type of buffer between the two halves of the solenoid or over time the arm will become magnetic and start sticking causing this error again. Any thing sticky back foam will work. I have also seen video where people insert a folded over piece of paper.

The solenoid has a tendency to age and start sticking thus causing the 59.F0 error code. This is the 20 minute tear-down to show you how to get to that solenoid.
