Hi @Cardo-123,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check for Paper Jam

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Open the front cover and remove any jammed paper you see.
  • Check the rear access door and remove any stuck paper.

Examine Paper Tray and Feed Rollers

  • Remove the paper from the tray and inspect it for any damages or obstructions.
  • Check the feed rollers for dust or debris. Clean them if necessary using a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.

Use Compatible Paper Type

  • Ensure the paper type and size matches the printer's specifications.
  • Fan the paper before placing it in the tray to avoid multiple sheets feeding at once.

Reload Paper and Reset Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Remove all paper from the input tray.
  • Reconnect the printer and turn it on.
  • Reload paper correctly into the tray.

Update Printer Firmware

Kindly refer to this link to update your printer firmware.

Perform Printer Hard Reset

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check and Adjust Paper Settings

  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • Select Printer Setup.
  • Adjust the paper settings to match the type of paper you are using.

I hope this helps.
