Hello,

About 2 weeks ago my printer began printing an 'extra' page for every page in my documents. I did not notice it at first because it was set to two-sided copying.

I noticed that it was printing two-sided and my document was still on 2 pages.

Then a few days later I printed a single page document and it printed two pages. the second page has the lightest, barely visible gray background on the whole page.

I thought I had it fixed after rebooting, but today I printed a 2-page document and for each page it printed an extra page with a gray background. It was set to single sided printing and gray scale. This is wasting ink and doubles my print times. Any suggestions? I have unplugged and replugged it in as well. will be printing a test copy after I make this post. It's got to be something simple I'm missing I think .

Okay, print headers and footers was checked. When I unchecked print headers and footers, it stopped printing on the second page, but now the pages have a gray backgrouns.
