Hi @kgoc,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Envy Photo 7855 is showing a paper jam error but you can't find or remove the jammed paper, try these steps.
- Turn off the printer: Unplug it to avoid any risk of injury or damage while troubleshooting.
- Open all paper access areas: Open the front and rear access doors of the printer to check for paper jams in those areas.
- Check inside the printer carefully: Look around the paper feed rollers, under the scanner bed, and inside the printer for any bits of paper stuck in the path.
- Use a flashlight: If you're having trouble seeing in the dark spaces, use a flashlight to help spot any small pieces of paper or debris.
- Gently pull out any stuck paper: If you find any paper jammed, gently pull it out in the direction of the paper path to avoid damaging the rollers or other components.
- Check the paper tray: Sometimes paper can get stuck in the paper tray or feed area. Remove the paper tray and check if any paper is jammed there.
- Reset the printer: After you've cleared any paper, plug the printer back in and power it on. You may want to perform a "reset" by turning it off for about 60 seconds, then turning it back on.
- Run a cleaning cycle: Some models have an option to run a cleaning or diagnostic cycle that can help identify and clear any minor jams or issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
