Output bin flag out of position or defective sensor. Remove the top cover and inspect the sensor or sensor flag

If you have simply been adding toner to the cartridge without ever emptying the waste bin, eventually the waste bin will over-fill and dump toner back on the pages. Reputable sellers of toner will provide instructions on emptying the waste toner bin. You can check on You Tube for videos.
