Hello all,
I have a paper jam issue with my office jet 250. It is stuck in saying paper jam even though there is no paper jam. When you load paper it tries to pull the paper briefly then kicks it out then tries to pull the paper again then after a while says there is a paper jam. I have looked inside the printer with a touch and I dont see any paper jammed in it.

Hi @pbbass80,
I'd like to help!
I understand you are receiving a paper jam error.
Try the below suggestions -
- Try the steps in the document -HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile Printers - 'Paper Jam' Error
- Try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
If the issue persists, I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Here are a couple things that helped when I had that problem.
1. First unplug power to the printer, wait a few seconds and then plug the printer back in to AC power. Sometimes the software gets hung up.
2. If that doesn't work, see my post "Fake Paper Jam Solved" posted 12-07-2021 in "Printer Paper Jams..." My printer is a different model but they all have some sort of sensor that signals a paper jam - either a real paper jam or fooled by something else, like ink.

Hi Jim4267
I am not able to locate exactly the paper jam sensors of this printer but I have bought an air duster and cleaned the printer as much as I can but sadly the printer is still reporting a paper jam. There must be something not right with the paper pick up mechanism maybe or as you pointed out the paper jam sensors.
