Printer is jamming 3x a day; for real. I unjam the printer. Unplug it to turn it off because it won't shut down normally. Get the error message about unplugging is bad for the printer. Run a test page; or align the cartridges. All is well. Duplex printing goes on. Then it jams again. Same steps. Just fell out of warranty back in Jan 2026; how much to speak with a technician or have someone come out to take a look at it?

Thank you for posting, however you need to include more details to make it possible for someone to provide guidance. The list below is a generic list of possible information to provide and some may not be applicable in your case.

-Be sure to include model of printer
-operating system of computer
- printer driver installed
- printer connected via WIFI, Ethernet or USB?
- has it ever worked?
- any error messages appearing on the screen including numeric or text errors.
- anything that may happened just before the error started such as paper jams or power failures.
- If you can include a sample that would help when issue is print quality

connected via ethernet and USB (for when my internet goes out)

It has always worked.

Printer driver installed:  When I purchased it: Jan 2023; however this is what is listed in device manager under this printer: Device SWD\PRINTENUM\WSD-e7afd7df-cfb1-4676-964a-dea5d3e82bea requires further installation.

No idea why it says needs further installation. Has worked since the first day always. I have been battling the paper jam error since it went out of warranty. (Yes, printer has been cleaned to HP specs); calling them today to see if anything else can be done.

No error messages appear.

Nothing out of the ordinary happens before it jams.

I make sure the paper is level in the tray before printing; send print jobs or each job one at a time. Sometimes they work, other times it jams and 3x in one day was enough.
