I have a HP office jet pro 9015e. It has a paper jam message but there is no paper anywhere in the machine. I've opened the front, the feeder, the top, taken out the thing toward the back with the blue handle, inspected around the toner carriage, unplugged it multiple times. THERE IS NO PAPER IN THE MACHINE. Now what?

Hello
If it is confirmed that there are no paper jams/foreign objects inside the printer, the above problems may be related to the printer's paper path sensor not resetting. (That is to say, the sensor is always in a triggered state) You can try gently tapping the printer left and right 50 times, then restart the printer and retest. Thank you.

The paper jam screen persists. I tapped on it a multitude of times, unplugged it for 60 seconds as I saw that as a solution elsewhere, and inspected the guts of it again. There is no paper anywhere. My wife sent a 6 page document to it from her iPad this morning and it printed just fine. Doesn't seem like if there was a paper jam, it would print anything. When I press the "OK" button on the jam screen, it makes a brief rattly sound inside, to the back and maybe the right, as it's going through its start up sequence.
