Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Tray empty or open error on brand new printer i purchased 0n 12/26/2022. So, it will not go online, and they tell me the warranty has expired

If you have not registered your printer purchase then the current warranty status is based on build date not sale date. This sounds like a DOA issue and I would contact place of purchase about an exchange.
