Hi @Omg_343,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If you're stuck in the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI screen and can't return to your normal Windows desktop, try the following steps:

Option 1: Use the Exit Button

  • On the diagnostics screen, look for an “Exit” or “Main Menu” option.
  • Select “Exit” and confirm.
  • The system should reboot into Windows.

Option 2: Force Restart

  1. Hold down the power button for 10–15 seconds until the laptop shuts off.
  2. Wait a few seconds, then press the power button again to turn it back on.
  3. It should now boot into Windows.

Option 3: Boot Menu

If it still boots into diagnostics:

  1. Turn off the PC.
  2. Turn it back on and immediately press Esc repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
  3. Press F9 for Boot Device Options.
  4. Select your internal hard drive (usually listed as "Windows Boot Manager") and press Enter.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
