To download and install the HP LaserJet 1320 printer, follow these steps.

 

Download the Printer Driver

  • Visit the HP Support Website: Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page.
  • Enter the Printer Model: In the search box, type "HP LaserJet 1320" and press Enter.
  • Select the Printer: Click on the HP LaserJet 1320 from the list of search results.
  • Choose Your Operating System: The website will attempt to detect your operating system automatically. If it does not, or if you need to download the driver for a different OS, select the correct operating system from the list.
  • Download the Driver: Under the "Driver-Product Installation Software" section, locate the latest driver for your operating system and click "Download."

Install the Printer Driver

  • Run the Installer: Once the driver file is downloaded, locate it in your downloads folder and double-click the file to run the installer.
  • Follow the On-Screen Instructions: The installation wizard will guide you through the process. Follow the prompts, accepting the license agreements, and selecting the installation settings as needed.
  • Connect the Printer: During the installation process, you will be prompted to connect the printer to your computer. Use a USB cable to connect the HP LaserJet 1320 to your computer.
  • Complete the Installation: Continue following the prompts until the installation is complete. Once finished, you may need to restart your computer.

Verify the Installation

  • Open Printers & Scanners: On Windows, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners. On macOS, go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
  • Check for the Printer: Ensure that the HP LaserJet 1320 appears in the list of installed printers.
  • Print a Test Page: Select the printer, then choose the option to print a test page to confirm the printer is working correctly.
