Hi, hope I can get some help

 

I have had my new HP printer for a week and still can't print anything! I have installed the printer as per instructions, installed the smart app on my laptop and desk top. When I turn the printer on it says it's available, but as soon as I try and print it is not discoverable and when I re-enter the app it is offline.

 

Tried support chat, which simply gave me 3 numbers to try. Two of the numbers no longer connected the other told me to go online and use chat! 

 

I am a patient man, and will soon be canceling my subscription if the problem is not sorted. Sorry to sound frustrated but the marketing materials said this would be stress free.
