HP Envy 6052
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I am looking to reset my Envy 6052 printer to its factory settings. I went to set up a custom EWS password and accidentally used a typo for the password and its confirmation. I just purchased this and am about to take it off to college.

@knuckles0315, Welcome to HP Support Community!

The EWS password cannot be reset, however, I'd suggest you restore the network settings and try again-

On the back of the printer, press and hold the Wireless button for at least three seconds.

If you still have issues, try the steps to reset the printer to original factory defaults-

  • Lift the cartridge access door to expose the cartridge area.
  • While the cartridge access door is open, press and hold (the Power button) and Wireless button on the back of the printer for three seconds.

Reconfigure the printer and try again.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
