Hi.

Maybe it is really easy to resolve this, however I could not find any answer on HP support or this community page and struggle for weeks.

HP Deskjet 2630 was setup for wireless use and was working ok for a while (several months).

Then at one startup (power button push) all lights started flashing on the information panel (E sign 2 times, the E on the left side is smaller, the E on the right side is twice as big, no error number is displayed, all other info is on and blinking) and the printer is offline.

It is strange as the printer does not seem to startup correctly and stuck before even come up available for the PC (HP smart and/or printers & scanners). As this is the case I do not think the problem is with the driver/firmware as the printer does not reach that point.

Things I have tried so far:

1. hard reset - checked the cartridges, put them back, checked and verified there is no jam, removed paper, put back paper)

2. printer uninstall (from settings / Printers & scanners) and reinstall 

3. printer uninstall (from settings / Printers & scanners) and reinstall with USB cable only

None of these worked, printer cannot be used.

Please advise.

If you have tried all the troubleshooting steps from this document HP DeskJet 2600 Printers - Blinking Lights and the issue still persists, it could be a hardware issue.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer/computer.

Sorry for the late reply, I just had time now to check this again.

Indeed the blinking lights guide did not mention my error, I copy a photo here for reference, maybe there is something that you can advise:

Unfortunately I cannot get through to a portal where I can open a ticket or I cannot find an email address where I can write.

I am in the UK.

I tried to register my product (HP Deskjet 2600 All-in-One series, 2630,) but the system failed to validate my printer's serial nr and the HP support page just keep on asking the same questions and provide the info guides...

Please advise.
