I had gotten a message on my printer a couple of months ago that I needed to replace the black ink cartridge.  I put a new cartridge in and it printed 5 pages and said that I needed to change my black ink cartridge.  I wrote to HP Instant Ink telling them that I must have gotten a bad black cartridge.  They said that they would send me a new one.  In the mean time, I ordered a 61 black ink cartridge from Amazon. When it came in, I installed it in the printer.  It printed about 10 pages and I got the same message.  I looked up suggestions for what could be wrong.  I saw that someone said to use a Qtip and water and carefully clean off the track where the black cartridge sits.  I did that and nothing changed.  When the new ink cartridge came in, I installed it in the printer.  Again, it printed a few copies then gave me the error message.  I didn't have the money to buy a new printer.  This past week, I took a chance and tried the printer again.  It printed 17 copies, then gave me the error.  It printed with a cartridge that had previously been given the error message.  Last night, I was looking on the internet again for suggestions.  Several people had commented about problems with the 61 black ink cartridge.  I looked for other printers that use the 61 ink cartridge since I have several that are like new.  I couldn't find any printer that took the 61 cartridge.  My printer was a year old in July.  Any suggestions would be great.  I am an elementary teacher who bought the printer to work from home rather than longer hours in my classroom.

according to another solution that I found was to turn off the wifi then let you print and scan, but as I have seen this printer always has that problem until today many people have decided to launch this printer and buy a better one.
