HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer
Chrome OS

Existing printer works from most devices.

Can print without an issue from Mac OS, IOS and Windows. All without an issue.

Cannot print from Chrome OS.

On HP Web Services Tab. Click "Enable" to accept Terms of Use and enable HP Web Services.

Returns: Connection error. Check Internet connection.

Steps taken to repair.

  • Set DNS to google, 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4
  • Download and run HP Scan and print doctor for windows. Firmware has been updated.
  • restore factory defaults
  • repeat steps 1-2 above after restoring defaults. including firmware update.

Link at bottom of web services tab. "Go to the HP ePrintCenter Web site for more information and specific terms and conditions: [3rd Party Link Removed]" fails in safari, Chrome and Bing browsers

Error returned:

Safari can’t open the page

Looking to be able to print to this printer from Chromebook. Only assuming that the reason we cannot print may relate to the HP ePrint web services,

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem as mentioned in the first post.

Maybe the P1102W has the same problem as the printers mentioned here (German, sorry):
