HP PageWide Enterprise MFP 586 Device Error

Hello everyone,

My printer displayed an error code during operation while opening and closing it.

The error was: 49.38.07 Device Error

Following this, I formatted the hard drive via the Pre-Boot menu and downloaded the latest firmware from the official HP website.

It does install the firmware and attempts to start, but whenever it tries to boot up, it always shows the error code 62.00.00.

I also replaced the hard drive because I thought that might be the issue, but that didn't work either.

I have now tried everything multiple times, including blowing out all the components [with compressed air] and checking if everything has a proper connection. The toner cartridges are also original, and the error occurs with or without the toners inserted.

Unfortunately, I am at a loss. Does anyone have experience with this problem?

The 49/62 xx error may be related to the printer firmware.
Is the replacement part a printer-specific hard drive?
If not, please switch back to the previous hard drive and format it.
Then, upgrade the firmware again for testing.
If the issue persists, please promptly contact your local service center for assistance.
