Hi @Roy44_-,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing an issue with your printer that is related to installing an update on windows.
A) Please follow the steps below to perform a power drain.
1) Take out the cartridges
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Remove the cartridges > Unplug the power cord > Wait for 30 seconds > Plug the power cord back in > Insert the cartridges
B) Kindly refer to the steps on this link to update the printer firmware and let me know if that resolves the issue.
C) If the issue still persists, May I know from where are you trying to install the above shared update?( On the printer standalone or on the windows 11 device)

I got the same error, 0x800f020b when Windows Update was trying to install "HP - Printer - 20.80.3.9568".
According to "Windows Update Catalog" that particular update is for "HP DeskJet 3630 series", I have a "HP LaserJet 3030" only:
The way I see it, the installer does what it's supposed to, reject installation for non-existent hardware. The issue is that I get this update at all, I should not have it, it is not designed for my hardware. The fault lies with Microsoft / HP.
Running "wushowhide.diagcab" and hide the faulty update solved it for me:

Hi @Magnus_B
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are getting an error message 0x800f020b on your Hp printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
Let's perform a power drain:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till the warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle
