The method is similar to creating a Shortcut to scanned content for any Cloud Storage.
The example (below) illustrates the general setup.
Open HP Smart
Open Shortcuts
Create a Shortcut - give your shortcut an appropriate name
Select the type of Shortcut action > Save
Change your Destination to Google Drive (as opposed to OneDrive as shown in the sample)
Click to Edit the destination folder and select the sub-folder Photos
Save File Type = Image (.jpg)
Finish up and Save the shortcut...
