I'm trying to load a .pfx certificate on our HP Web Jetadmin server but get the following error:

The common name of the certificate must match the FQDN(Fully Qualified Domain Name)

I also noticed this in the release notes:

WJA-12289: During the HP Web Jetadmin installation, logic now detects when the .PFX certificate selected is invalid because the Subject (CN) of the certificate does not match the system name. The following message is displayed in the installation wizard:
The common name of the certificate must match the FQDN(Fully Qualified Domain Name).

This makes it sound as if my FQDN always needs to match my server system name but that can't be right, can it? My server name has nothing to do with the DNS I want to use.

As a test I used the server FQDN as alternative in the certificate and now it works but requests to the DNS I WANT to use are redirected to the server FQDN.

Is there any way to remedy this?

Thanks ahead!
