Mac mini Catalina 10..15.7. HP Envy 5032.
Returned from holiday and switched on printer and then Mac and found a HPDevicemonitoring.framework will damage etc.
It seems that recent update of Apple makes some tracking look like malware. HP track my device for my cartridge plan so no surprise there but there are a lot of offers to install malware finders.
My wife's Parallel system has no report, no message - but no update either.
I shall wait and see a) if my printer works and b) if the message stops then c) if Apple or HP make known some issue. There are reports that other services that follow what you do including amazon music have the same issue but no news makes me concerned.
HP must do something publicly to retain public faith - in my opinion.

HP have said: "We unintentionally revoked credentials on some older versions of Mac drivers. This caused a temporary disruption for those customers and we are working with Apple to restore the drivers.
The fact that they can do this unintentionally suggests a shocking level of incompetence
Annoying to the nth degree to have had no notice of this from HP - and hopefully a fix is coming. HP please come clean and tell us people who have bought your printers what is going on!!!!
Or is it as some have suggested really a ploy to get people to scrap old printers, which would not fit in with their environmental statements - If i do replace the printer I might chose a more professional company next time

I'm glad this isn't just me! Shocking ineptness on HP's part. Or is it corporate sabotage? Is it HP trying to get us all to upgrade? I have a wonderful HP 6940 ... total workhorse. I buy LOTS of HP ink. My profession depends on me being able to print things out. The fact that they are stiffing all of us with this stupid ploy is ... shocking. I'm equally frustrated. If it is not fixed by tomorrow (Sunday) I will never purchase an HP product again. I'm so glad I didn't purchase another HP yesterday. Good grief!

Hello, I too have this problem. I have been on the phone with Apple Support and the tech said he personally had 4 other calls this morning about this issue. He gave up and told me to try HP. So here I am. I don't see any answers yet. My printer is old Photosmart C7280 All In One printing for iMac Catalina 10.15.7.

At least it does appear a fix is coming and should be soon!
what was annoying to me as I have done some other work on the system not too long before all this started. So I spent a lot of time troubleshooting that, only to find out from this very thread that it was an HP problem.

In one of the related topics, we were told that your computer will not be damaged. It is just a certification issue - that we'd hope would be solved by Monday. I print my work with no problem, with no additional downloads or work arounds. I go to print, then just click OK when the multiple pop ups appear. I think I have 4 or 5. Then it prints.

Saw this on another thread. My C309 Photosmart Premium and Laserjet 4050 work again! Not sure about scanning ... need to check.
The solution is to download (and install) this package which will update drivers AND THE CERTIFICATE:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/hp-printer-essen...
It is NOT the same as the driver package, Easy Start, or Easy Admin other people are recommending.
If the link comes up blank, try right clicking and saving it. If you install this package and still have trouble, try uninstalling your printer and reinstalling by going through Apple Logo (Upper Left of Screen)/System Preferences/Printers & Scanners.
Easy Admin did nothing. Easy Startup did nothing. 5.1 drivers did nothing. This worked for me!
If this solved your issue, please thumbs up and mark as solved!
