HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Printer

Have unplugged waited etc etc as per advice but still same error message. Tips welcome. Haven’t used printer for a while but is in excellent condition

The error code 0x83C0000A NOS_LOADER_APP on your HP Envy 4500 indicates an issue with the printer's firmware or software. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

 

Basic Checks:

  1. Power Cycle: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  2. Connection: Ensure the printer is securely connected to the power source and your computer (wired or wireless). If using Wi-Fi, check for a strong signal. Avoid using surge protectors or power strips for the printer's power cable.

Software Solutions:

  1. Update Firmware: Check the HP website for the latest firmware update for your Envy 4500 model. Download and install the update following the HP instructions.  Update the firmware on an HP printer
  2. Reinstall Printer Software: Uninstall the HP printer software from your computer and download the latest version from the HP website. Reinstall the software following the on-screen instructions.
  3. Firewall/Antivirus: Temporarily disable your firewall or antivirus software to see if it's interfering with the printer's communication. Remember to re-enable them after troubleshooting.
  4. Clear Print Queue: Clear any stuck print jobs in the printer queue on your computer.
