HP Envy 5530
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I'm trying to build a custom printer/paper profile for my printer and in order to do that I'm using i1Profiler to print patches to be measured. Before I print the patches I need to turn off the printer color management. How do I do that on the HP Envy 5530? In the advanced print settings under color management I have 2 options, either ColorSmart/sRGB or Adobe RGB (1998) D65 WP 2.2 Gamma.icc, but no option to turn the color management off.

Welcome to HP support community.

Click the name of your printer, then click 'Options & Supplies.'

Enter the 'Color Management' menu. Click the 'Advanced' button ('Advanced Color Settings' if you use a Mac),

Then move your mouse to the top-right corner of the printer dialog boxDisable 'Color Management.

I hope that helps.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.

From where do I click on the name of my printer? I'm on a PC. From the Control Pane > Devices and Printers I don't see an 'Options and Supplies' option.

Press the Windows keys on the keyboard and search for your printer model.

Cheers.
