Hi, for security reasons we are required to delete all completed job logs that are stored on the printer.  Can this be done?  If so how?  We also do not want any record kept on the printer of jobs sent to it

thanks in advance

If you require high security and privacy you should refer to this web page for documentation on securing HP printing devices: https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c03687861

I have never had this request before so I have not tried it but here is a setting to disable device user stats however I do not know if this also stops the job log from populating, but gives you a place to look and test.

You will probably also want to turn on secure erase which wipes every job from memory after it is completed. This may hamper performance a little but provides the most comprehensive method for keeping information private. I also assume you are using print job encryption to ensure security between the work station and the printer.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to reply.  I managed to achieve the level of privacy required by restricting the viewing of job logs to administrators only.  This can be done under the security tab

thanks
