Officejet 3830
Microsoft Windows 11

I have an older HP 3830 officejet printer, and a newer HP laptop with windows 11. There is no possible setting or configuration to print in color from word or Google docs on my HP laptop. I have checked every button, in printer preferences and printer properties. There is NO grayscale button, no print in color button, I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and drivers. Ran troubleshooter. I read many of these questions in the HP community. There is NO button anywhere to change the printer setting to print in color. While using docs, it says print in color, and still prints B&W. Even under more settings, print using system dialogue, and changing color mode to color. The printer prints in color from my iPad, no fuss, no issues, beautiful color. Do I need to buy a MacBook instead of using an HP laptop, considering I can't print in color with my HP LAPTOP and my HP PRINTER together? I know it's an old printer, way out of warranty, but it works using an IPAD. Is there a solution? I've tried it all, nothing is working.
