I am installing my printer.  All plugged in and turned on.  Ink and paper properly inserted.  The screen keeps telling me to check for a paper jam.  I have not printed one page so no paper jam can be possible.  Then it tells me there are no ink cartridges installed.  I have checked them ten times and they are installed and installed properly with no tape stuck to them.  HELP!

@RuthEJ, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are not able to use the printer due to these errors.

The paper jam could be because of the packaging material left over inside the printer or plastics/cardboards.

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - 'Paper Jam' error

To know how to insert the inks, refer to - Replace the ink cartridges

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
