HP Deskjet 2542 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an existing, working HP 2542 on my wireless network.    I purchased a new Windows 10 64 bit computer and I can't see how to get the computer to use this printer.    I installed  the driver.    After trying every way I could see it wouldn't  use the printer.   I even connected a USB cable to the printer but that looked like it was working, told me to disconnect the usb cable, and it couldn't use the printer.   I ran Print & Scan Doctor, and that indicated that my printer was connected to the network, but it couldn't tell me what to fix, except to re-boot the modem and the printer (which I did several times).   The printer works from my other computer, but not from this one.    Any ideas?

I got it working, but I'm not exactly sure  exactly what I selected.      I was looking through the options on top of a page of the installation, and it said that it was repairing things.    It went on for a bit, and I did have to connect the USB cable and disconnect it a couple of times, but when it finished, the computer could use the printer.
