Officejet 6962 All-in-one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Officejet 6962 All in one is not printing color anymore.  I have had it for over a year.  It was printing color at one time.  I looked in the community for suggestions and I have gone through the steps that I have found, but it still isn't working.  (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/HP-Officejet-Pro-6960-not-printing-color-anymore/m-p/6... and https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/OfficeJet-Pro-6960-Cannot-Print-Colour/m-p/6807233#M74...) and I've done the steps for  HP OfficeJet Pro 6900 Printers - Fixing Poor Print Quality (https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/model/9514772/document/c05076934)

None of these solutions have worked.  Below are other things I have tried.

My windows printer preferences has the color button checked.

I bought all new genuine HP ink cartridges yesterday and installed them.

I cleaned the ink cartridge contacts.

I've cleaned the printhead, first and second level cleaning.

I am NOT able to make color copies from the printer.  When I click on make a color copy, it prints it out in black and white (Grayscale).  I have tried both the document copy and the photo copy.

I have removed all the ink cartridges and performed a hard reset on the printer. (The power cord is plugged directly into the wall.)

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer.

I have done a factory reset on the printer settings.

I am using the printer wirelessly.

When I do the print quality report, color does not print at all.

Does anyone have any suggestions that might involve advanced windows 10 settings?  or any other suggestions to get the color cartridges to print?  Thanks in advance for your help.

@kris_1234,

Thank you for posting your query on HP Support Community,

This looks like a possible hardware failure with the printer. I would personally suggest you contact our HP support team to get the printer service or possible upgrade options.

HP support team can be reached on www.hp.com/contacthp

Select the product type.

Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

Select the country from the drop-down.

You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!
