Everytime the printer turns on I get a notification it was improperly shut down (It wasn't), another notification that there is a paperjam (there isn't) and finally that there is a printer failure and if I continue to get an error to contact HP (not helpful). I thought this was because the link was low but when I went to change it the ink does not move to te center when the lid is opened so I can't even replace the cartridges. I tried to reset the printer and it lost connection even though the Wifi connection was maintained. The printer is only 8 months old purchased from Costco new and not used incredibly frequently so not sure why it is having this many issues. Please help!

@dvm2022, Welcome to HP Support Community!
The printer failure can be caused either due to faulty ink cartridges or internal hardware issue.
Refer to this video link to clear the carriage jam.
If the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure. As your printer is just 8 months old, HP can provide you with free service options.
