If you’ve lost the administrator password on the Color LaserJet MFP 6800, you should use HP’s official Factory Reset procedure rather than trying to bypass the admin login. The 6800 uses HP FutureSmart, and HP provides a specific factory-reset procedure for these Enterprise printers.

Keep in mind that a factory reset can remove configuration such as network and security settings, so make sure you have the information needed to set the printer back up afterward. If these are company-managed printers, it’s also worth checking with the previous administrator or IT team before resetting them. (HP factory reset guide)
