Where do I get the scan software for my HP Officejet Pro 7720.
I had this software before reinstallation of my PC. Now hp only brings me to the HP smart app which has a useless scan tool that only does single sided.
I have downloaded all the drivers from the website a number of times but to no avail, I just waist house clicking a reinstalltion of the drivers. Really frustrating that HP keep redirecting me to a useless online tool .
If you have suggestions for other product I'll happily used them I just wan to be able to scan double sided.

Hello,
The HP Smart application, does not support Scan to PC. For this function, please install the full drivers and software for your printer on your computer. The scanning application (HP Scan) is included in the drivers and full software of your printer..
Please download and install the HP OfficeJet Pro 7720 series Full Software and Drivers.
The following non-HP video shows you how to perform a duplex scan: https://youtu.be/qs-Z2K7wcOM.
To activate Scan to Computer function from the printer's control panel:
- Open the HP Printer Assistant application: Double-click on the shortcut for your printer on the Windows desktop (HP OfficeJet Pro 7720 series). The HP Printer Assistant window will open.
- Click on Print, Scan, Fax and then click on Scan.
- Click on Manage Scan to Computer.
- Click on Enable. If you have the Disable button, it means that Scan to Computer is already enabled.
To activate the Webscan from EWS function, please follow the procedure below:
- From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Wireless icon () to retrieve the printer IP address.
- Launch a web page, and then type this address in the address bar and press Enter key. The Embedded Web Server (EWS) opens.
- Click the Settings tab, then under Security, click Administrator Settings.
- Under Enable/Disable Features, then check the Enable All box, and then click Apply.
- Click on OK.
Don't hesitate to contact us in case of need.
Best regards,
