To access features on the Quick Sets, the above screen is displayed.  My HP 4301dfw does not have a PIN# on the Part Number / Serial Number tag?

Pin should be on the front right of the toner cartridge carrier. You have to open the front door to access it.

How do I set up the 4301dfw so that pdf is the default file format when using the Scan function?

I figured out the Save function in the Scan menu.
