HP ENVY 5540
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi - I have a weird issue. I have an HP Envy 5540 networked printer. This can be seen by all devices - 3 windows PCs, 1 Mac, various iPods/Pads and prints fine from all but one device. The windows PCs all use the latest drivers installed via HP Smart / Print Doctor and install fine. The issue is that from one device -- a Dell XPS 13 -- the print is always black and white even where it is sent in colour (i.e. appears colour on the print preview). Am at a loss to explain/understand (it sounds like a driver issue specific to Dell vs HP) but wanted to ask the community for thoughts. Note that if i use the printer web interface from the Dell and print a test page -- that will be in colour but I assume that is because that method bypasses the driver on the Dell.

Many thanks in advance

M.
