HP Officejet 8035 and HP Photosmart 7520
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello!

My parents and I own the following printers:
HP Photosmart 7520 all-in-one
HP Officejet 8035 all-in-one

I ran the firmware updates for both printers, but I'm wondering something. Right now (through AT&T Uverse) we have a PACE gateway that sees bands b/g/n. It needs to be upgraded to an Arris bgw210-700 that sees bands b/g/n and ac. I want to know if there is anything that will need to be done so that the printers can be used wirelessly. According to the user manuals, the printers see bands b/g/n only. I know for our laptops, I had to purchase USB ac wifi adapters to make them see the ac signal.. Will the printers be able to see the new signal without some type of adapter or update? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. 🙂

Hi @raptormoonx

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

HP Photosmart 7520 all-in-one printer and HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 All-in-One Printer is only compatible with 2.4GHz network. it supports Wireless network: 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11n.

These printers do not support AC band.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
