When scanning, my MFP 277dw records to wrong time on the scan.

When I scan a document, the file is dated and timed. The correct date is shown but the time is - 18 hrs adrift i.e. 17.30 shows as 01.30 

Seems to be no setting in the machine to fix it.

Any ideas?

Error - put in 32-bit by mistake - its 64-bit!

How do you scan? using the HP Scan Software, the HP Smart Software? from the printer front panel?

If the last is correct, what exact steps are taken?

Is the printer connected via USB or through the Network?

Do you have the HP Laserjet Pro M227 software installed or the HP Smart app on your computer?

Please clarify the information above, so we may better understand the problem and where to change the time settings accordingly.

Hi Shlomil - Seems the site was down which was why I could not recover passwod.

How do you scan? using the HP Scan Software, the HP Smart Software? from the printer front panel?
I scan from the front panel, after inserting a USB Flash drive. I scan to USB, remove USB and install in PC, then address USB when wrong time shows. The time set on the  Dell pc is correct

Printer is hardwired to PC - so when I click print on the pc, the instruction heads down the wire to printer and actions the print

HP Smart is on the PC but unused. Laserjet Pro M227 software installed
