Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Windows 11 keeps installing an old USB driver "Hewlett-packard - USB - 6/1/2018 46.2.2631.18152". The problem is once it does that i cannot print or scan. After a restart with the printer already on, it works again untill it installs this old useless driver again. 

 

I looked everywhere but can't stop this driver from being installed and there is also no uninstall.

A search on the net showed several people having the same problem with windows 10.

Hello,

 

If you have Pro version you can stop download drivers with Windows Update by group policy setting.
