Thx!  Much apprecaited.  I tried all options (several times in fact), except for changing printer heads. To no avail.   Yellow triangle is stil there. Printer not printing.   Ink levels are fine.   New, original cartridges installed.

I had same problem before when I changed cartridges, but then somehow I managed to make printer work again. Only forgot how.

I thought problem could be due to fact that I used Windows 8 before. Now using Windows 10. So I installed HP Solution Center for Windows 10.    No change.

Thank you for any additonal tips you may have. Drives me mad.   Printer should work. but does not.    BRRRR

Thx again.

Hello, @TanjaEllen

Can you make a copy using the printer?

Place a document face down on the scanner glass and press the copy option on the printer control panel. Let me know if it makes a good copy or not.

If the copy also fails, then try a hard reset as suggested below:

  • Remove the cartridges from the printer.
  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Remove USB cable, if present.
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
  • Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

Let me know how that goes!

Good luck 🙂
