HP deskjet 3051A all in one printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

updated windows 10 to latest version and now the print window does not come up when trying to print e-mails from gmail.  printer drivers are the latest and deleted and reinstalled the printer and its drivers from previous HP help, but still can't print.

@mirko3, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Exactly what software are you using to try and print the emails?  IE?  Chrome?  Some other browser?

If it is a chrome browser, follow the steps below:

Open any page.  Either type Ctrl+P or open the Menu and select "Print".  Another page should open with print options.  What do you see?  Is your printer showing as the default, or is "Save as PDF" the default?

Look at the "Destination" field.  Just to make sure you have selected the right printer, click the "Change" button, then look at "Local Destinations".  Click the "Manage" link to see all your available printers.

Be sure the correct one has been selected.  Mine shows as "HP Deskjet 3051A" and has the green default checkmark.

If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the chrome browser.

If you are using a different browser keep me posted for further assistance.

I use internet explorer and Microsoft Edge, but have been using them forever.  The only thing that has changed recently when this problem started was updating Windows 10 to the latest version.

@mirko3

Try using the Google Chrome browser and see if it works.

Also, try uninstalling the browsers and reinstalling them. If they have any updates available, run the updates.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
