250

Hello,

During the initial setup of this officejet 250 mobile printer I inadvertently disabled wireless access.
I have now been trying through all kinds of methods to re-enable the wifi on the printer but have had no succes...
The closest i got is the screen "administrative settings" from the "hp smart app" where I can click "enable wireless settings", when I press "ok", the change is accepted but then when I go to this settings page again, nothing changes, the changes are not taking into account...

This drives me crazy and i am ready to throw away the printer without ever having used it.

Can you tell me how to reset the printer to its factory settings so that i am presented again with the initial screen that lets me choose to connect to the wifi?

Thx from Belgium
Carl

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:

  • 1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).
  • 2. Touch Printer Maintenance.
  • 3. Touch Restore.
  • 4. Touch Restore Factory Defaults. A message appears stating that the factory defaults will be restored.
  • 5. Touch Restore.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
