hp smart app cannot find my printer

Hi there, I have a Deskjet 9800 that I've been using for years, I need to do some maintenance so I downloaded the HP smart app to clean and align the printhead, but is impossible for this app to find my printer, even though is connected and fully functional. 

I know I can do this from the control panel too, under the tool section but I have looked everywhere and cannot find it either.

Unfortunately, HP Smart cannot and will not work with this Retired printer.

HP Drivers (assuming there were any left), Documents, and Support are removed by HP after a device is retired.
