Hi @jim4010,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

There could be a few reasons why your HP j4550 printer is only printing the first page of your document. Here are a few things you can try to resolve the issue.

  • Check your print settings: Make sure that you have selected the option to print all pages of your document. Sometimes, the default setting may be set to print only the first page.
  • Check your document: It is possible that there may be an issue with the document you are trying to print. Check to see if there are any formatting issues or if there are any pages that are blank or contain only a few lines of text. If the document is in a format that is not supported by your printer, this may also be the cause.
  • Check your printer settings: Make sure that your printer is set up to handle the size and type of paper you are using. If your printer is not set up correctly, it may only print the first page of your document.
  • Check for updates: Make sure that your printer drivers are up to date. You can check for updates on the HP website.
  • Try resetting your printer: Sometimes, resetting your printer can help resolve issues. To reset your HP j4550 printer, turn it off, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
