Printer test pages print but nothing else.  I have done everything to resolve, but still nothing. HP Print and Scan show no errors. The printer itself shows no errors either.

Hi @prandrea79

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

As I understand from your post, the printer is only printing the Test Pages. I'd be happy to help you get this sorted.

Download and install HP Print and Scan Doctor, it is a Windows tool to fix printer issues.

If the issue still persists, try re-installing the printer driver -

1. In the search box, type and open "Uninstall a Program".

2. Look for HP Printer software.

3. Right-click to uninstall.

4. In the search box, type and open “Devices and printers”.

5. In the Devices and Printers, look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose “Delete” or “Remove Device”.

6. Open the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7. Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”).

8. Click on the "Drivers" tab.

9. Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click “Remove” at the bottom.

10. Select Ok.

11. Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows.

12. Close Devices and Printers Once the software and drivers are removed.

13. Restart the computer.

14. Download and install the software and drivers from here for Win 10 (32-bit) OS.

15. Click on the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thank you for responding and the help.  I followed your directions.  When I got to the end of the setup "wizard" it said set up was complete and proceeded to open the HP smart page.  I logged in to make sure that my printer was listed in my acct and I also wanted to double check that the HP care pack that I purchased the other day was showing up in the acct.  When I proceeded to "X" out the window I get a message stating if I close the window then I could copy the link to finish setup.  I left the laptop on all night and got the same message when I tried to close that window.  I also put some letters on a word pad page just to see of they would print, but still nothing.  I am beyond frustrated at this point.  I have no clue what could be wrong.

Appreciate you trying the steps.

Please try adding built-in driver and check - HP Printers - Installing and Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver
