Hi team,

Please assist as I'm facing an error of E3 appearing on the screen of the printer. Every solution that I found in the forum does not work for me, thus I've concluded that I had to reset my printer. Please do DM me the procedure to reset my printer as I need the printer to be back into action in order to make my job easier.

I understand the decision of reset should not be taken lightly and will end with dire situation, I will bear the full responsibility to whatever happens to the printer.

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting E3 error on the printer.

 

Perform a hard reset on the printer.

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector and printer.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Update the printer firmware

Refer this HP document for the steps to update the printer firmware:- Click here

 

If the issue persists, I have sent you some additional steps via PM that are specifically related to resetting your printer.
