HP Deskjet Pro 8600
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since installing Windows 10 - the printer driver falls off and I have to  re-download.

  • Both my laptop and desktop have this issue.
  • Yesterday it took two hours before my computers would recognize the installation/driver.
  • Connecting to wireless router and router was connected
  • Any suggestions to stop this from happening?

@Jo651,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that your HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer keeps disconnecting from the network.

This issue could occur if there is a wireless channel interference.

Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.
