My printer was flashing me an error message saying that my ink cartridges were empty, so I replaced them with brand new ones. However, my printer doesn't recognize that I put new, full ones in it. I have cleaned the electrical connections on the cartridges and on the inside of the printer, I have turned it off and turned it back on, I have reset it according to the instructions on the HP website, but it still won't print anything or recognize that I changed them. Is my printer just broken?

I see that the printer is in an error state and I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue. 

 

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
