I solved it!

The Semi-Full Reset

  • Press the back button (arrow icon) on the front panel of the printer “4 times”.
  • If you did it correctly, the support menu should appear.
go to resets menu and choose the semi-full reset
    press OK

    all back to print

I have gone through your post and i would like to help

Print a Quality Diagnostic Page and let me know if that prints

  1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.

  2. From the printer control panel, open the Setup  menu.

  3. Open the Reports or Tools menu.

  4. Touch Print Quality Report.

A Print Quality Diagnostic Page prints.

Example of the Print Quality Diagnostic Page

That didn't work for me. Hitting the back arrow only took me to the question mark. I see nothing that can unblock this cartridge.

I'm so frustrated.

Help please

@Rockyisle47, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Performing reset on the printer is not the solution to try on the first go. Let us try to isolate the issue first-

Are you able to remove and reinstall the ink cartridges?

Is the carriage stuck inside the printer?

Is there any error message on the printer?

Meanwhile, Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware.

Keep me posted.
