CONNECTING TO PRINTER WIFI REQURING PASSWORD?

Hello I was recently gifted a HP DeskJet 3700 All in one series printer from a friend who couldn't figure out how to work it. I downloaded the app onto my iPhone in order to set it up and I was instructed to connect the printer to my wifi.  It told me to open my wifi settings and look for a network titled HP-setup.  I did not see that network but I did see DIRECT-B6-HP DeskJet 3700 series.  As I don't have another printer in my home I am assuming this is what I would need to connect to?  

The issue is that the wifi network is asking me for a password.  My friend doesn't believe that she ever made a password but she isn't particularly tech savvy and could be wrong.  Is there a way to reset the printer so that I can get it back to the HP-set up wifi?  Or is there a way to reset the password?  I would hate for a perfectly good printer to go to waste.

Restore the wireless settings by holding both the wireless and cancel buttons till the power light starts blinking, this will reset the printer into Wireless Setup Mode, then reconfigure its wireless connection by following the HP Smart app:

If you are prompt for any password, also print and evaluate a Printer Status Report and look within the Connectivity section for any listed password or PIN Code:
